So, what next?

So, today is the day that my iPod battery no longer runs over six hours without a charge. This is not a good thing.

I wonder if those new battery kits are a worthwhile investment/challenge?

I suppose i'll have to look into that. Although, there is a refurbished iPod Photo i've been eyeing...

Oh well. I suppose that's what i get for wanting a new camera! =^P

I want this camera!

Meh, don't feel much like writing anything today.

Last night i had a dream... guess who was in it! Anyway, it kinda left me in a down mood.

Bah!

So, cheer me up! Buy me a new digital camera! The 8 mega-pixel Canon EOS will do just fine... =^) In fact, it's on my Amazon wish list (which is linked to the right). =^P

And thank you sooo much in advance!

At least tomorrow is the last day of class...

Elixir of life...

Ah, refreshing!

Yes, i know it seems waaay to early in the morning for a Mountain Dew. However, what is a non-coffee drinker to do?

How many people out there can actually function without their daily caffeine hit?

What is it they say? Better living through chemistry.

Ok, so i don't really believe in better living through chemistry. I don't want to become dependent on pills to survive... and thinking about family members who rely on a handful daily scares me to no end!

However, i've come to rely on caffeine on occasion. Lately, it helps to fend off fatigue... although if i'm not careful and overdo it my fatigue problem gets worse.

So, i suppose it is a balancing act.

In the past i've taken steps to rid myself of caffeine consumption. That's all well and good, but now that my appetite is as voracious as ever... i find i need the appetite suppressant quality that comes with it.

Somedays the fake energy buzz is better than the real energy buzz from constantly eating. I wish i didn't tend to constantly eat, but with a desk job and plenty of homework every night, i find comfort in the munchies.

Ugh.

And being ambidextrous doesn't help... eating with one hand while writing with the other...

Thus ends my desperate attempt at a blog post. Bleah!

Fire!

I look in the mirror and i see it.

The fire's coming back, baby! I'm getting the fire in my eyes...

Sheesh, i almost sound like Apollo Creed!

This is good though... i'm not dead inside after all! =^) I'm starting to believe in myself again.

I know i can fulfill my financial goals, my materialistic goals, my spiritual goals... and get the girl in the end. Yes, i can do it! I am going to make something of myself... i'm going to be happy with the hand i've been dealt, and more importantly, what i'll manage to do with it.

Just wait and see! =^D

Cha-ching!

Wow!

Considering my "professional student" status, i'm amazed i didn't discover the beauty of the book buy back before today!

Actually, i'm one of those people who just loves books. Also, i find that the class doesn't usually require reading through the entire thing, so i hold on to them to read completely... when i find the time.

Plus if the book pertains to my career path, i figure it doesn't hurt to add it to the library.

A few people in my family would disagree with this, but i don't believe one can have too many books. I get it from my step-father, i think... i just love to read and re-read.

However, the books i decided to part with today were seriously never going to get looked at again... so i sold them back to the school where they'll get more use than on my shelf... and made a quick ninety bucks.

Which oughta support my lunch and social habits for the next week or so. Yay! =^)

And i can only hope that someday soon my goal of not getting excited about a quick ninety dollars will realized.

Yes, soon.

Leisure time with a bit of envy...

So, another work week begins. Add to that the last week of classes... i might just have some leisure time right around the corner!

Hopefully i can finish getting my house in order. That is my big plan for the break since i'll have a month with no homework to worry about... which is something i've not had since last winter break.

And, there's a week in there that the gym will be closed... =^(

Last evening, i got a twinge of envy from T about my weight loss. She was going on about how i've lost so much weight since we met in May and how she thinks she looks a little thick.

Please... she looks like a model! She's gorgeous! Anyone who tells her otherwise is smoking something!

I don't know if she believes me when i tell her i think she's amazing... but i do like the expression that flashes across her face when i say it. Whether she believes me or not, i do mean it.

I suppose i still am a bit shocked that she likes me and thinks i'm cute. So, in that regard i guess i see why she flusters at my compliments too.

At least she's a lot of fun to hang out with... and to get to know.

Anyway, she said she'd call sometime this week so we can get together... we'll see what happens! =^)

Deposit into checking...

Why do banks, or i guess it's the check companies, insist on sending about twenty deposit slips with every 150 checks?

This is the 'online banking' age! Banks obviously know it, 'cos my online banking site has more functionality than i could have ever hoped for!

Thanks to online banking, i only write two... rarely three... checks a month. However, i do still need to wander into the bank to deposit money. I think i use maybe four deposit slips a month.

So, because of the ratio of check/deposit slips in the current check bundles, i run out of deposit slips loooong before i run out of checks. Then i need to go to the bank and fill one out completely... because it isn't pre-printed/pre-filled out.

Which means i can't use the ATM for off-hour deposits. Which means i'm the guy who holds up the line in the early a.m. because they have to send the li'l tube to me an extra time with a blank slip.

Really, the check printing companies should offer an online banking package... one that is at least half deposit slips/half checks. Or maybe offer a book that is entirely deposit slips.

Personally, i think it is a brilliant idea! =^)
