Hunger

Sometimes it is good to get away.

Away from those parts of your life that oppress you. The job, the home, the life.

Getting away provides that opportunity to regain your focus—to find clarity. That opportunity to move ahead again.

As Pete Campbell said, “Stable is that step backwards between successful and failing.”

Okay, maybe Pete Campbell isn’t the best example. What about Steve Jobs then? “Stay hungry. Stay foolish.”

Both of these must become part of my daily mantra. The former applies because I do get caught up in stability and comfort. When we’re comfortable, we leave so much on the table. We leave LIFE on the table.

Hunger can be such a discomfort, but it can also be a driving force. I need to embrace this as a constant reminder to improve... to become successful... to better compartmentalize... to share my gifts with others.

Onward and upward. If you don’t like what’s being said, change the conversation.
